Colorado OST
Fall Conference
We’re thrilled to share the success of our recent fall conference, which took place on Oct. 28-29, 2024 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities in Arvada, CO. The conference brought together 210 dedicated out-of-school time (OST) professionals from across Colorado for two transformative days of learning, networking, and inspiration! Attendees explored resources from our exhibitor hall, engaged in impactful breakout sessions, and heard from dynamic keynote speakers, including Dee Hankins, Dr. Gale Gorke, and Lana Hailemariam, whose powerful stories and insights left a lasting impression.
The excitement began on day one with an inspiring welcome from Susana Cordova, Colorado Department of Education Commissioner, who emphasized the importance of OST programs in supporting youth across our state. On day two, we were honored to welcome Governor Jared Polis, who underscored the vital role OST plays in Colorado’s future. With a packed lineup of engaging sessions, attendees walked away with innovative strategies and fresh ideas to enhance their programs.
