Kelly Streck

Executive Director

Kelly has spent the last 18 years in the non-profit community and much of that time has been working with young people, educators, and OST providers before she knew about the acronyms.

Communications & Events Manager

Taylor’s passion for out-of-school time stems from witnessing the profound impact it had on her students and their families. Over four rewarding years as a site coordinator, she’s seen firsthand how OST programs contribute to holistic student development.

Katherine Plog-Martinez

Board Chair

Katherine Plog Martinez currently serves as the Managing Partner for Knowledge to Power Catalysts, a small boutique consulting firm that increases the rate at which leaders transform Knowledge into Power to change the odds that all children and youth will thrive.

Sarah Conley

Vice Chair

Sarah Conley has worked with OST programs for 26 years, both private sector and public education. She has always advocated for quality out-of-school time programs for all children keeping their best interests as a priority always to support the whole child.

Heather Intres

Board Member

As Chief Impact Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, Heather is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our impact strategy including curriculum assessment and selection, program design, research and evaluation, and data analytics.

Ashlee Adams

Board Member

Ashlee Adams has over 25 years of experience working in non-profit and education settings, focusing on youth development and family strengthening practices.

Kim Schulz

Board Member

As the Associate Director of Strategy and Sustainability in the Office of Children’s Affairs for the City and County of Denver, Kim is responsible for advocating for what’s best in the Out-of -School Time field.

Jodi Walker

Board Member

Born and raised in Morgan County, Jodi has never been afraid to take on controversial issues and frequently use unorthodox approaches to bridge the cultural, economic, and generational challenges of the Eastern plains.

Nikki Roe Cropp

Secretary

Nikki Roe Cropp has over 20 years of experience in the social sector, including roles in administration and leadership. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Program Effectiveness at Camp Fire National Headquarters.

Arvian Harper

Board Member

Arvian Harper is an education professional with over 15 years of experience, primarily in Denver Public Schools. Currently, she serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Sims-Fayola Foundation, where she oversees all operational and administrative functions, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.

Sustainability

The purpose of the Sustainability Action Team is to ensure the sustainability of CAP by seeking out grant opportunities, identify new funding sources including new CAP programs, and build relationships with individuals, businesses and organizations in the public and private sectors.

Events

The purpose of the Events Action Team is to support the Communications & Events Manager in planning the logistics of the CAP Events throughout the year. The goal of the events is to expand awareness of CAP as well as provide much needed professional development opportunities throughout the state.

Quality & Professional Development

The purpose of the Quality & Professional Development (PD) Action Team is to to build a Statewide Quality System that ensures quality, access, capacity, and accountability in Afterschool Programs that serve K-12 grades. The Quality and PD Action Team is tasked with creating a statewide coordinated professional development system aligned with the Quality Guidelines and learning community, as well as supporting professional development opportunities throughout the year.

Advocacy & Awareness

The Advocacy & Awareness Action Team promotes out-of-school-time programming across the state of Colorado and liftsup the successes of Colorado program providers, in order to increase access to high-quality programming, and to spark interest in and opportunities for sustainable funding, policy changes, and ongoing stakeholder engagement. The Advocacy & Awareness Action Team works with Colorado Afterschool Partnership (CAP) Staff and the Youth Advocacy Team to plan advocacy and events including Lights on Afterschool, Afterschool Professional Awareness Week, and National Summer Learning Week and helps build capacity to effectively advocate for OST policy and funding.
